Upgrade your Land Rover Defender L663 by fitting these genuine Land Rover heavy-duty cast metal rear tow loops.

These hooks were only fitted to the top of the range "DEFENDER X" model.

These loops are pre-painted in Red by Land Rover who call this colour L'Orange. (we are sure its RED but hey ho!)

This kit contains everything you need to add these 'always ready' permanent towing loops to the rear of your Defender (you reuse the bolts that are already fitted).

As well as the practical reasons we think these just look cool and add to the rugged off-road look of the vehicle.

This upgrade kit contains:

• 2x Genuine Land Rover Towing Loops in Red
• 2x Custom Powerful UK Acrylic Finishing Inserts in Black
• 2x Spare Wheel Arch Clips

The standard towing hook is removable and is usually kept inside the vehicle and screwed into place as and when you need it.

These are genuine Land Rover towing loops that are painted in Red.

One thing we didn't like is that when these loops are fitted, the surround area looks unfinished (where the blanking plates for the removable tow hook used to be) - so, we engineered a solution:

We have designed and manufactured some acrylic inserts to fit into the recess around the loops to give a nice finish to the job.

The acrylic inserts simply stick into place with pre-applied automotive grade adhesive tape once the loops are installed.

You need to unclip the rear arches to remove the rear bumper so we also supply you with 2 spare wheel arch clips in case you lose or break any (we dropped one of ours down the drain as you'll see in the video!).

Fitting Details

Note: Land Rover's fitting instructions state the torque for the bolts is 170Nm
