This is a replacement headlight rear back for the Freelander 2 2012+ models.

This listing is for the Right-hand side

You could use this back to swap the internal components into if your headlight back/clips are damaged.

This case should be compatible with all headlight types - LHD / RHD / Halogen / Xenon etc

This back is to fit the late type Freelander 2 headlight which was fitted from 2012 -14 (see pictures).

This item is made from tough polypropylene plastic.

We also sell replacement lenses to fit these backs - see our other listing.

Note: You will need to apply heat to your lamp to soften the adhesive to separate the old base from the lens. You'll also need to seal/glue the lens back onto this base when complete.

These are not genuine Land Rover parts.

This spare part incorporates a third party design and is intended exclusively to be used to repair the vehicle to its original appearance.

Fitting Details

We have not done this replacement ourselves yet.

The trickiest part is removing the old lens which is bonded into place.

With previous headlight upgrades we have had some success by baking the headlight assembly first at a low temp to loosen the bonding material around the old lens.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item WILL fit the later Freelander 2 models from 2012 - 2014.

This item WILL NOT fit the earlier Freelander 2 models from 2007 -2011.
